Introduction
This selective guide highlights major electronic and print resources available to Cleveland State University students researching issues in Sports Law. Because legal issues related to sports may involve any of a number of areas of law and legal research (contracts, torts, intellectual property, constitutional law, etc.) the researcher is encouraged to start with a secondary source - book, article, ALR, etc., and then follow annotations to statutory law and court decisions.
Many of the resources listed are available on LexisNexis or Westlaw, which are only available to C|M|LAW faculty and students. Many of these resources are available in print in the library (you will see a call number such as KF 3989 .L38, or are available via another electronic sources such as LexisNexis Academic.)
Please contact the Law Library's Research Services librarians during their Research Services hours, or via email to research.services@law.csuohio.edu for assistance in locating or using any of the resources discussed in this guide.
